Earthy Life

2 Day “Daily” Retreat

Saturday October 25 & Sunday October 26
9:30am-4:00pm each day
in Bethany at the Mary MacKillop Precinct
4 High Street, Kensington
Presented by Mary-Ann Casanova rsj

Pope Francis reminds us that, We ourselves are dust of the earth (cf. Gen 2:7); and our bodies are made up of her elements;
we breathe her air and we receive life and refreshment from her waters.
(LS para 2, 2015).
Across this two day experience we will consider our personal relationship with Earth. The layers of our planet and the ongoing geological processes which form Earth will act as a metaphor. We will draw inspiration from Teilhard de Chardin’s description of being a terrestrial and child of Earth, and from Julian Tenison Woods’ love of rocks and Earth.
Processes will be varied. Time will be given to personal reflection, group conversation, through writing, photography, collage and other forms of creative expression.

Cost: $360 ex. gst or $396 inc. tax includes Morning Tea & Lunch on both days
Note: This is not a live in retreat. Accommodation is not provided nor included
Registration: Strictly by 12noon Friday May 23 through TRYBOOKING
